As in the case of the Ignorants' "Phat Girls," the Pet Shop Boys' connection to this 1991 track is probably limited solely to providing the record label, Spaghetti Recordings. Masterboy is the German duo of Enrico Zabler and Tommy Schleh, often augmented by female vocalist Trixi Delgado and occasionally a second singer, Beatrice Obrecht. They enjoyed scattered success on the Eurodance circuit on different labels following this single release, and even had a significant U.S. dance hit in 1996 with "Land of Dreaming." Their most recent tracks to date were released in 2003, although rumors of new music continue to crop up from time to time.
