This 2016 single by a mysterious act calling itself Sioux City—which seems to be based in Sweden despite the seemingly non-Swedish names of those associated with it (Jaime Graham Appleby, Melinda Jean Appleby, and Catherine Giselle Torres), and which doesn't seem to have any other recordings to their credit—grants Chris and Neil co-writing credits by virtue of its very liberal use of the familiar opening synth chords and iconic bassline of "West End Girls." It doesn't actually sample WEG, but instead closely replicates its sounds. But aside from that borrowing, it's a completely different song with its own melody and lyrics.
